Now as you know Yayelle was trying to reach Hydlaa afraid that the enemies of the empire would find her before she could find help. Somehow she managed and as she lined up at the gate to enter the city the familiar sound of the guards was heard.

"Keep your weapons sheathed while in Hydlaa, citizen."

Looking around memories came back to Yayelle as it had been a few years already since her mother had taken her away to try and escape those trying to kill the rest of the Greenmoon family.

The Greenmoon story: What went before.

Ofcourse this is not the start of the story. It's not even the start of this chapter but we have to start somewhere don't we?

For those who know nothing of the Greenmoons let me fill you in quickly about a bit of their history. As their last name already suggests (there is no moon in Yliakum afterall) the Greenmoons are a family who can trace their lineage back since before the portals that brought the races here. Well they could if the records of those ancient times had survived. But we will start a bit more recent.
